Road Maintenance -Sealcoat Review
The Board agreed unanimously to have the crack sealing of the roads done yearly. This promotes longevity without having to do serious road maintenance on a regular basis. With the Sealcoat being completed, it was discussed that if anyone would have clumps of dirt or other debris that would possibly soak up the sealant, to remove them ASAP to preserve the integrity of the sealcoat for a longer period.

DUE TO HIGH WINDS ON WEDNESDAY, the schedule has been pushed back a day, with Fridays work now scheduled for Monday. Nothing will be done on the weekend.
The areas on the Reserve side that were messed up by the garbage trucks will be touched up.

Cottonwood Creek Residents,
As part of our road maintenance plan, we will be having a contractor (Asphalt Specialists) perform seal coating on our roads the week of June 15 – 19. They will be working in sections, as described below and as shown on the attached map, working one side of the road at a time to facilitate traffic. The sealant dries within 2-4 hours after application depending upon weather conditions. Please do not drive across the wet sealant as it may make marks on your cars and may track into your driveway, which will be difficult to remove.
They will be working from approximately 9:00 am to 5:00 pm each day. If you need to leave your driveway during that time, based on the schedule below, please park your car on the opposite side of the road so you won’t have to drive across wet sealant.
Please avoid lawn mowing next to the road that would leave grass on the road and don’t run your sprinklers if they spray on the road surface on the days that the work is scheduled to be done in front of your house.
Monday, June 15: Cleaning and crack sealing major cracks across entire neighborhood.
Tuesday, June 16: Woodcrest Circle beginning at County Road 37 on the right side (east side) of the road and continuing up Woodcrest Drive (south side) to County Road 37. The contractor will then turn around and work the opposite side of the road back down Woodcrest Drive and on to Woodcrest Circle.
Wednesday, June 17 Now Thursday, June 18: Buckthorn Drive (east side) beginning at the intersection with Cottonwood Creek Circle and working north through Sage Circle. The contractor will then turn around and work the opposite side of the road back up Sage Circle and Buckthorn Drive, continuing on to Cottonwood Creek Circle and back to the intersection with Buckthorn Drive (Cottonwood Creek is not shown on the map but will be completed on this day.)
Thursday, June 18 Now Friday, June 19: Cottonwood Creek Boulevard (east side) beginning at the intersection with Sage Circle and working east and south to the entrance. The contractor will then turn around and work the opposite side of the road back to the intersection with Sage Circle.
Friday, June 19 Now Monday, June 22: Switchgrass Road (south side) beginning at the intersection with Buckthorn Drive and working east to the entrance. The contractor will then turn around and work the opposite side of the road, including Indian Grass Circle (not shown on the map, but will be completed) back to the intersection with Buckthorn Drive.
As with all plans, weather and the actual work pace may impact this schedule. We will let you know of any changes.
