Road Maintenance/Mowing Along Road Edge

By Laura Heimann | 6-16-2025

To maintain the integrity of our road edges, we need to have grass and other vegetation cut back at least approximately 2 feet from the edge of the road. We are currently experiencing degradation of the road due to heavy plant and root growth along the edge (see pictures below). We appreciate homeowners who are currently mowing along the road in front of their property. In areas where it is not currently being mowed by homeowners, the Board plans to have it periodically mowed by a contract mower starting within the next couple of weeks. If you have any concerns or special considerations, please contact any Board member.

Additional information

Property line location:

There has been some confusion about the location of each homeowner’s property line and whether the homeowner owns the property up to the edge of the road.  The HOA owns the road, and a road right-of-way 66 feet wide. Therefore, each homeowner’s property line is approximately 33 feet back from the center of the road and approximately 20 feet back from the edge of the road. We appreciate the many homeowners maintaining not only their own property but also the land in front of their property up to the road.
